Jo is fascinated by ways in which we draw on the imaginations of past cultures and add our own ideas. She is also interested in beginning a drawing with no fixed end point in mind. Sometimes these intuitive drawings are resolved as abstract works or may develop into more tangible forms and creatures. The show features six such drawings which Jo thinks of as ‘Un-natural Histories’.
