Jo often visits the South of France in winter, when the days vary from bright and sunny, to cold with mist or even snow.
Some works are the realisations of preconceived ideas while others are developed more intuitively.
After discovering the fascinating "Histoire Naturelle" series of frottages by Max Ernst, Jo became interested in this addictive art form, making works from found and constructed templates.
