With soft(chalk) pastel it is often ‘easier’ when you have ‘the right colour’ for a particular element in a composition, but there are ways of using blending and optical mixing, that can give exciting results. This workshop will provide a taster for a short course to be held in Spring 2016 which will go on to look at composing with colour in soft pastel.
