Seen and Imagined

Tuesday 23rd February to Sunday 20th March

An Exhibition featuring new works on paper and canvas, inspired by museum drawing and the Yorkshire countryside alongside more intuitive works.

In the Gallery

Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead SL6 4PF

Opening times: 5.00pm to 10.30pm Tues.-Sat., 10.00am to 10.00pm Sun. Closed Mon.

Jo is fascinated by ways in which we draw on the imaginations of past cultures and add our own ideas.  She is also interested in beginning a drawing with no fixed end point in mind.  Sometimes these intuitive drawings are resolved as abstract works or may develop into more tangible forms and creatures.  The show features six such drawings which Jo thinks of as ‘Un-natural Histories’.

Private View: Sunday 6th March 3.00pm to 6.00pm
